Artist's Comments

Haha, well there's a good bit to this one.

We read The Stranger by some french guy in my english 12 class. Personally, I hated the book but I had to find some good in it, haha. Me and my friends have a homemade movie productions team, we get togther after every book we read and do a modern, slightly altered remake of it. We got a couple of em up on youtube if anyone wants to watch, just ask.

Anyway, this was my part of the project, the movie poster. Featuring the main character Meursault (center), Marie, Raymond the pimp, the arabs, and old man Salamano.

Took about 4 hours, done totally from scratch.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

This is our first one, modeled lightly from The Great Gatsby.

Second one, modeled lightly from Shakespeare's Macbeth.

Keep in mind, neither are meant to be serious, haha. Just stupid little english projects, lol. Aaand due to an unforseen turn of events The Stanger movie has been canceled...So we've got two for right now.

Just keep in mind, though, neither are meant to be serious. We were out to be stupid, have fun, and make the grade, haha. Aaand it really helps if you've read the books.

Excellent musical choice for the car chase in Gatsby, although I can't figure out why you used an edited version of that song when the Papa Roach track at the end was unedited... =P

The recycled segments of the car chase got a bit old after the first coupe of times, though.

The Macbeth one was funny. I found it especially amusing when one of you was trying to cram pizza in cardboard Lindsay's mouth. =P

But who the hell shoots a sniper rifle from the hip? =P
